In 2022, the total amount of orders collected nationwide through the provincial centralized pharmaceutical procurement platform was 1061.5 billion yuan, an increase of 27.5 billion yuan compared to 2021. Among them, Western medicine (chemical and biological products) was 861.8 billion yuan, an increase of 30.3 billion yuan compared to 2021; Traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations reached 1997 billion yuan, 2.8 billion yuan less than that in 2021. The amount of online purchase orders for drugs in the medical insurance catalog is 794.5 billion yuan, accounting for 74.8% of the total amount of online purchase orders.
